We call our graduate programme Base Camp. To get here you already need some skills, talent and experience – just like at a real base camp. But to get further you need the potential, stamina and willingness to learn and adapt to the challenges ahead. Once at Base Camp, your journey can take different directions which enable you to explore the landscape and find the best route for your individual career.

Each year on 1 September, 30 new graduates start at Base Camp in 10 different graduate programmes. They experience a two-year journey through three departments at Novo Nordisk, at least one of which will be in Denmark and one in another country. Graduates are able to express their wishes about which country outside Denmark they go to. In the past this has included developed countries such as the UK, the US and Australia, and developing countries such as India, Turkey and China.
