Job Description PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for driving the support and maintenance of performance, learning and
development technologies and curricula for the NNI Talent Management group. This position provides
continuous support and ongoing analysis of best practices for the Leadership Development, Organizational
Effectiveness (LDOE) group to ensure technology, vendors, and systems provide value to the whole
organization.
This position provides research and implements HR technology functional changes that are value added to
the organization in a streamlined way utilizing the appropriate procedures, processes, and best practices.
Ensures metrics are utilized for continuous improvement of technology and applications to aid in the delivery
of superior business and sales results. He or she is responsible for the support and development of current
and future technologies which include: LMS, electronic training calendars, Learning Resource Directory,
Training Kiosks, eIDP, FACT (Field Assessment and Coaching Toolkit), and other systems. The candidate
project manages assigned projects and tasks, including: budget, resource, and vendor management.

RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to the Associate Director, Learning & Development Solutions. Interacts with all business units
designing and delivering support roles, resources, strategies, and initiatives to maximize and integrate
superior cross-functionality. External relationships include: working with various software and hardware
vendors, consultants, and content experts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
COORDINATION/DESIGN AND DELIVERY: Collaborates with key individuals throughout the organization to
ensure in-depth understanding of market, individual/local needs and that resources and systems are aligned
with market/customer needs.
COORDINATION/DESIGN AND DELIVERY: Conducts research and competitive analyses for developing,
marketing, and growing Novo Nordisk?s educational technologies to provide a continuum of education for
professionals throughout their careers.
COORDINATION/DESIGN AND DELIVERY: Develops and measures the effectiveness and impact of tools,
resources, and systems by designing key metrics to maximize achievement of objectives.
COORDINATION/DESIGN AND DELIVERY: Explores external ?best practices? and focuses on the
development and implementation of improved applications and systems.
COORDINATION/DESIGN AND DELIVERY: Interfaces on a regular basis with the field sales organization and internal business unit stakeholders to identify, and support in the role out of individualized learning
solutions as required, to improve the overall competency of staff members.
COORDINATION/DESIGN AND DELIVERY: Manages the support of learning technologies, performance,
development, and learning resources for all Novo Nordisk Inc. business units that are aligned with current and
future strategies.
COORDINATION/DESIGN AND DELIVERY: Manages vendors to ensure the seamless integration of high
quality vendor products with existing HR technologies, systems, and applications.
COORDINATION/DESIGN AND DELIVERY: Perform other projects as assigned.
COORDINATION/DESIGN AND DELIVERY: Project-manages internal and external resources for project
support of Performance and Development Solution initiatives.

DEVELOPMENT OF PEOPLE:
Ensure that reporting personnel have 3P forms with annual goals and measurements that are consistent with
the priorities of the business, and that interim reviews are held so that their work is focused on those priorities,
and they understand their level of accountability for results and the measurement process.
Ensure that the IDP forms include completed Learning and Aspiration plans and are in place for all reporting
personnel to enable the achievement of goals and capability to assume increased levels of responsibility.
Manage the application and communication of all Novo Nordisk policies, procedures, and Novo Nordisk Way
of Management.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
5+ years progressive experience with managing an LMS and eLearning/web design.
A Bachelor degree required. Master?s degree preferred.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal/presentation/communication skills.
Experienced platform skills. Comfort level in formal presentation setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite software, HTML/XML, JavaScript, Flash, C++, and Database systems
(SQL, etc.).
Solid knowledge of SCORM compliance.
Strong vendor management experience.
