The Position
Lead Veeva CRM Life Cycle Management (LCM) activities include release management and issue/inquiries management, etc. This includes determining improvement and technological advancement to systems as well as coordinating RFPs, gathering requirements and working with NNI IT and vendors on actual systems development and deployment. Responsible for Veeva CRM for NNI Field Force which includes – Diabetes Sales, Obesity Sales, BioPharm Sales, Market Access, and Medical. Provide strategic guidance to internal stakeholders as it relates to the use of Veeva CRM. In addition, the will identify and promote best practices for the management of the CRM platform. Manage Veeva CRM related Projects in collaboration with key stakeholders from within and outside NNI, including the NNI Sales Force, Medical, Marketing, Sales Training, and NNI IT. Serve as the subject matter expert of Veeva Customer Relationship Management (Veeva CRM) and partner with Field Systems Training and Communication lead to provide training content and execute training strategies. Acts as Veeva Business administrator and support Veeva CRM operational activities.


Relationships
Reports to the Associate Director of Field Systems. Interacts intensively with members of the Field Force Strategy and Operations, Information Technology, Medical Operations, Sales Execution and Operations, Sales Leadership, Sales Training and Sales Representatives, Marketing, Market Access Operations, Legal, HR, and Compliance. Other relationships include interactions with external relationships includes vendors, consultants, and information technology developers.


Essential Functions
  • Understands Veeva roadmap, proactively researches and advises new areas/function of use and the business case
  • Lead the Veeva System Advisory Board (SAB) and Change Advisory Boards(CAB) to proactively collect user input to collect and understand updates and suggestions for improvement and determine Veeva CRM Release schedules and Roadmap
  • Closely collaborate with various field operations teams and internal stakeholders such as legal and compliance to identify necessary changes and proper usage of Veeva CRM
  • Partner with IT to manage Veeva CRM releases which include requirement gathering, prioritization, release planning, testing and rollout
  • Drives systems training approach, content and cadence in partnership with Sales, Market Access, and Medical stakeholders, and Training counterpart
  • Acts as the Veeva business admin
  • Trains in house Veeva users and manage in house Veeva CRM access
  • Identifies changes required in downstream systems such as NNI data warehouse and BI systems due to Veeva changes
  • Participates on pre-Plan of Action (POA) and POA meetings as needed
  • Works with System and Data Training and Communication as well as Sales Training to communicate training of new features, functions and data

Physical Requirements
10-20% overnight travel required.


Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant experience required
  • A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience required. Experience in Veeva CRM, Field Support, or Field Operations within the Pharmaceutical industry is preferred
  • Experience from working on large scale systems projects within the Pharmaceutical industry highly preferred
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Tools
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a matrixed environment
  • Is proactive, successful in prioritization and able to efficiently get things done
  • Ability to translate business requirements to technical requirements
