The Position
Design and delivery of talent assessment solutions, including but not limited to 360 tools, personality inventories, business cases, simulations, etc. Consultative support regarding talent assessment related processes and tools. Project management support and implementation. Integration of assessment tools into talent and successor identification and development.


Relationships
Reports to the Global Lead, Talent and Succession. This position interacts with key stakeholders across People & Operations (P&O).


Essential Functions
  • Ensures effective assessment, identification and development of talent within the organization by developing and/or implementing assessment solutions
  • Manages external vendors to develop and implement talent assessment initiatives that support the company’s objectives
  • Conducts studies to measure the effectiveness of talent assessment initiatives, and makes adjustments as necessary
  • Stays abreast of latest trends and research in talent assessment
  • Partners with other team members to utilize data to identify talents, conduct succession and talent review meetings and inform the design of talent development initiatives
  • Ensures that talent assessments solutions are aligned to and support the priorities of the organization
  • Designs and executes projects in area of specialty, ensuring quality, timeliness and effectiveness of deliverables based on business intent and purpose
  • Carries out stakeholder analysis and manages project expectations to ensure business objectives are met
  • Builds and maintains trusting, collaborative relationships with others inside and outside of the organization, which accomplish key business objectives
  • Implements communication, change management and sustainability plans spanning the full project life cycle to support the effective deployment of new initiatives, processes and tools

Physical Requirements
20-30% overnight travel required


Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required
  • A Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field highly preferred
  • Requires a minimum of 9 years (or 7 years with Master’s Degree or 5years with Ph.D.) of progressively increasing HR experience in two or more specialized HR functions (e.g., succession management, performance management, assessment, or analytics/metrics) with a strong generalist background and comprehensive knowledge of assessment process design, development, and implementation
  • Demonstrated success partnering with HR business partners and line leaders to design and implement assessment solutions
  • Demonstrated experience developing talent assessment solutions and initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Requires proven success setting direction, developing others and as a business partner
  • Strong interpersonal, consultative, relationship building and conflict management skills in order to initiate and develop productive collaborative partnerships with all levels of leadership across the organization
  • Strong business acumen required
  • Requires strong vendor and project management experience
  • Lead and manage change
  • Excellent facilitation capabilities to work with senior leadership
  • Experience with individual assessment and coaching
  • Expertise in multiple forms of assessment, including personality, style, 360 feedback, cognitive ability, etc)
  • Strong vendor and project management skills
